Mike Clear, Family Ministries Pastor
In the beginning there was Mike...ok, so that's not actually true, but Mike has been at Discovery since it's conception. In his current role, Mike oversees the vision and leadership for all of Discovery's Family Ministry environments. He also produces and co-hosts Discovery's Family Experience called "Discovery Kidz."
Rick Kyle, Associate Pastor
Rick is one of the newest members of our team having joined our staff in 2009. In addition to being a part of our preaching team, Rick directs our Adult Life ministries and Missions efforts here at Discovery Church.
Mark McKinney, Executive Pastor
Mark has the pleasure of overseeing & leading the Discovery Church staff. He also manages the church finances along with the current facilities. Just like the rest of the staff, there are plenty of other items not mentioned here that he attends to--but in a nutshell there you have his job. Mark joined the staff in January of 2003, a month before the church was launched.
Directors
Scott Kolden, Technical Arts Director
To put it simply, Scott is the man. He oversees all Audio & Visual elements at Discovery. Scott has been a part of Discovery since the doors first opened in 2003.
Jennifer Stowell, Director of 2:52 Street
Jennifer oversees our 1st-5th grade students in our elementary ministries. Jennifer joined our staff in August 2007.
Support Staff
Kathy Gonzales, Family Life Assistant
Kathy is the Assistant to the entire Family Life Ministry here at Discovery Church. She joined our staff in August of 2008 and we have been so blessed to have her be a part of our team!
Judy Harms, Administrative Assistant
Judy manages and organizes the church office. She helps to oversee the data base and bulletin, and is also coordinator of the Meal Ministry. Judy joined the staff in fall of 2008.
Abigail Luciano, Office Life Assistant
She is our Office Life Assistant, but she prefers the title, ‘The Bookkeeper’. Abigail manages ‘the books’ for DC. She joined the staff in Aug 2007.
Cathy Schroeder, Executive Assistant
Cathy is the Lead and Executive Pastors' Assistant, which basically means she does a little bit of everything and anything to support Todd and Mark! She loves being a part of the Discovery team and joined our staff in the summer of 2009.
